OrangeforMac

About this product

Orange is a menu bar app that converts files where they sit. While you drag any file, press the trigger key and a wheel of formats opens at the pointer. Release over one and the converted file appears next to the original. Nothing is uploaded. It is a free alternative to paid converters like Tangerine, built on macOS's own frameworks (ImageIO, AVFoundation, PDFKit, AppKit text) with optional free helpers for the formats macOS can't write itself.
